DON'T ASK ME…If I Hear!!! IV.
"There are two kinds of men and women; the one who keep their words and promises, and the one who doesn't…The former enjoys my fancy; men and women of their words are sublime and trustworthy" – Prof. Chris Nwaokobia Jnr.
In this unfolding series in deference to the demands of my followers and readers I shall endorse and recommend certain candidates seeking different elective positions; I see the persons I shall here recommend not as Saints but as vistas of change and as men of their words.
For the Edo Central Senatorial Seat I'm enamored by the Aspirant called Chief Francis Inegbeniki, remember him, he was the young man over a decade ago who challenged the overbearing and meddlesome politics of Mr Fix-It Chief Tony Anenih for which he was detained. He believes that the people NOT Godfathers should choose their leaders. He has elected to take his belief in Peoples Power to the next level for which he enjoys my blessing & support.
I find it very difficult however to endorse GEJ who whilst seeking election in 2011 said on Monday the 31st of January 2011 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, “If I’m voted into power, within the next 4years, the issue of power will become a thing of the past. 4years is enough for anyone in power to make a significant improvement and if I can’t improve on power within this period, it then means I cannot do anything…” Has GEJ improved on power? You know the TRUTH. He has not added up to 1,000Mega Watt of power to the National grid, we cannot boast of an average of 6hours daily power supply. National Security is at its lowest ebb and patriotism in tatters BUT Jonathanians forgetting that GEJ is yet the C-in-C (Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces) shamelessly blame the Haramist and villify the North. Sad!!
God Save Nigeria.
